We will keep fighting for all libraries - stand with us!
This one-hour program was created by the Sacramento Area August Peace Event Planning Group, which includes the Sacramento Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The program includes a powerful eyewitness account by Setsuko Thurlow, a nuclear disarmament activist and survivor of the Hiroshima bombing, statements by US Representative John Garamendi and Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg, and presentations by Sacramento and Davis area residents who are active in efforts to abolish nuclear weapons.
